Live video streaming has gained popularity over the years. Internet technology has allowed the broadcasting of live feeds and videos through the Internet. More and more people are using this technology for several purposes. They can be of live events and performances that are viewed over the Internet, or they can be homemade videos that cater to its followers. If you want to join the bandwagon and start broadcasting your own live videos, here’s how.

 

  • Set up your webcam. You cannot make and broadcast a live video streaming if you do not have a webcam or camera. If you are using a camera, make sure that the cable is connected to the computer’s USB port.
  • Launch the RealProducer program on your computer. Make sure that your computer supports this program.
  • Click the Audiences option to begin your live video streaming.  Choose Music for event streaming or Voice for Audio if your video has more talk. Click the Video Filters option and check the Deinterlace box.
  • Click the Server Destination tab. Fill out the fields to make your live video streaming successful. You have to supply a destination name, broadcast method, server address, port, transport, username and password given to your by your server administrator.


  • Click the Encoding tab. When your streaming is successful, your status will show Broadcasting. If not, you have to contact your server administrator to fix the problem, usually by reconfiguring your settings.

 

To broadcast your own live video streaming, you must have a fast Internet connection so that the video is broadcast in real time and so that your views can view it without interruptions. It may take a while for you to figure out how to make and broadcast a live stream if you are a newbie, but in time you will find it very easy to broadcast events and your own videos over the Internet.
